There is nothing better than a short get away from all of the stresses in life and fortunately for me MUSIC is my relief.
On September 7th I got on the road to go and get my thirth Mic in Benton Harbor, Michigan @ F.O.P. (Fraternal Operation Police)!!! This was an H.I.V awareness event that allowed for all who attended to be tested. Not only did I perform and receive a great response from Benton Harbor, but I was also tested and encouraged others not to be afraid to be tested as well. With a negative test result and a positive response from the crowd I got back on the road overwhelmed with excitement to Detroit, Michigan to conquer what would unknowingly turn into my thirty first thru my thirty fourth Mic!!!
On arrival to Detroit of course hunger had set in and Chipotle was the food of choice. After filling up I decided to stop in T-Mobile and look at the new devices and ended up performing for the manager and employee’s. I always like to be prepared in life and today just so happened to be one of those days.
After T-Mobile, I met up with the Detroit chapter of my organization P.O.E.T. and proceeded to perform at the Urban Network Cafe, at the last stop of the underground railroad directly across from Canada “the promise land” (a cipher with local rappers), and at the Artist Village.
THIRTY Four MISCs DOWN, sixteen LEFT TO GO!!!
